Site Engineer:

Responsibilities of Site Manager:  

Now, the role of a construction site engineer depends on the type of work involved and the experience they have working on a construction project.  

  1. The responsibility of supervising the whole site. 
  2. Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis. 
  3. Before the work begins, a site manager gets things ready by organizing the team and preparing the site, carefully planning the tasks to be completed.
  4. Supervising the laborers at every stage of the construction.
  5. Study the drawings and finish the work by managing the labor, material, and machinery as per daily planning. 
  6. Ensure that work is done safely, within budget, on time, and to the right quality standards. 
  7. Monitor progress by overseeing the delivery of materials and carrying out safety checks to sort out any issues which could hold up work as they arise. 
  8. Monitoring the work and providing the current work status to the concerned Site Engineer.
  9. Keep in close contact with the site team at all times, and liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, and planners.
